Mobile power supply, also known as portable USB charger or portable backup battery power supply, is an external mobile power supply device for low-voltage electronic products. The UL2056 standard is a safety standard introduced by the United States for mobile power terminal products. It is suitable for products with DC power input and output of 60Vdc, but does not include products powered by external solar panels or vehicle 12Vdc power ports.

The difference between UL certification and UL test report

1. UL certification is a voluntary certification, which requires testing products and auditing factories, and auditing once a quarter. The cost is high, the time is long, and the auditing of the factory is very strict.

2. The UL test report is to issue a qualified test report after selecting the corresponding UL standard for the product to pass the test. Low cost, short cycle, no need to audit the factory. Can be used for Amazon audit, customs clearance is invalid.

Mobile power supply UL report complete machine requirements

1. The whole mobile power supply meets the requirements of UL 2054, mainly referring to the shell, external connectors and PCB boards;

2. If there is a voltage of 42.4Vac or 60Vdc generated by the built-in DC/DC conversion circuit, the circuit requirements meet the requirements of UL 60950-1 or UL 62368-1;

3. For the in-line mobile power supply: the mobile power supply must meet the requirements of UL 60950-1 or UL 62368-1, and there must be isolation between the built-in battery pack and the built-in ac/dc power supply.

4. The lithium battery inside the mobile power supply must meet the requirements of UL 1642.

Mobile power UL2056 test report test items

1. Energy input test: When all loads are running (including the built-in battery being charged), the input current of the mobile power supply does not exceed 110% of the rated current.

2. Load test of the output terminal: each output terminal needs to be tested; the test uses the maximum output current of the output terminal, and the duration is 1h.

3. Combustion test of photovoltaic cells: This requirement applies to mobile power supplies with built-in photovoltaic panels; the test requires a single-fault mobile power supply, and the purpose is to test the photovoltaic cells when they may burn.

Mobile power supply UL test report processing process

1. Project determination: confirm the UL standard on which the test is based, the cost and time of certification, the number of samples, etc.;

2. Data preparation: According to the requirements of UL, the enterprise prepares various data or documents required for certification;

3. Sample delivery test: The enterprise sends samples to ZRLK testing laboratory for product testing;

4. Issuing the report: The product test results meet the requirements of UL standards, and the test report is officially issued;

5. Factory audit: UL will conduct the first factory inspection of the production factory to ensure compliance with the standard requirements;

6. Use of the logo: After the audit meets the requirements, the applicant is officially authorized to use the UL logo.
